Philosophy & Approach

My own journey of growth and healing has shaped not only who I am as a person but also how I show up as a therapist. With over 20 years of experience, alongside my own personal therapy and professional training, I’ve come to deeply appreciate how transformative it is to feel truly supported during life’s challenges.

I believe healing begins when we recognize that feelings like anxiety, overwhelm, exhaustion, or feeling stuck aren’t personal failures—they’re natural responses to life’s difficulties. Our nervous system holds onto patterns that once helped us cope but can later leave us feeling disconnected from ourselves and the life we want to live. This disconnection can dim our joy, creativity, and clarity.

The good news? With care, curiosity, and the right support, you can reconnect with your true Self—the part of you that is resilient, compassionate, and capable of incredible growth.

What It’s Like to Work With Me

I believe therapy should be a space where you feel truly seen, heard, and accepted—where there’s room for both deep healing and moments of lightness. My approach is warm, compassionate, and grounded, and I’ll always meet you exactly where you are, without judgment or pressure. We’ll work together to untangle your experience so you can move forward with more clarity and ease.

Clients often tell me that when they step into therapy with me, they feel like they can finally exhale—a sense of relief in knowing they don’t have to carry everything alone. They describe my presence as grounding, intuitive, and deeply compassionate. I hold space for the hard stuff, but I also believe in bringing warmth, humor, and hope into our work together.

Outside of therapy, you’ll often find me hiking in nature, or exploring creative outlets that bring me joy. I believe healing isn’t just about working through struggles—it’s also about reconnecting with what lights us up and creating a life that feels authentic and fulfilling.

An Invitation to Begin

You’ve already taken the first step just by being here, and that’s something to acknowledge. If you’re feeling drawn to this work but aren’t sure where to start, I invite you to reach out. I’d love to hear what’s on your mind and see if we’re a good fit. You don’t have to figure it all out alone.
